Feasibility

Feasibility study and generation of molecules under constraints

Your question: which molecule would meet my specifications? Does it have the right properties? Is my batch synthesis transposable to continuous flow?

Three points of entry, depending on your starting point.

Design the molecule with AI. Our generative AI AlchemAI designs and screens candidates under multiple constraints: target properties, synthetic accessibility, freedom to operate, regulation. It predicts the expected properties (physico-chemical, biological, reaction-related) to screen broadly before synthesising, and delivers a reasoned shortlist of structures to synthesise or to order for testing. Synthesise and validate the properties. Whether a molecule was generated by AlchemAI or is your own, we synthesise it on our continuous flow chemistry platform and measure its actual properties, to confirm experimentally that it meets the specifications.

Transpose a synthesis from batch to continuous flow. You already have a batch process: we assess the technical and economic feasibility of its transposition to flow (analysis of the synthesis route, identification of critical steps, validation trials) and estimate the expected gains in safety, yield, environmental footprint and cost.

Deliverable: feasibility report with a reasoned recommendation and, where relevant, a development roadmap.

Develop­ment

Process development

Your need: a robust, demonstrated, documented process.

We develop the continuous flow process for your molecule: condition screening, optimisation by design of experiments, robustness demonstration, sample production for your qualifications, up to small-scale production of 10 kg delivered directly from the lab. Our chemists work in close contact with your teams, with regular progress reviews and complete documentation.

Deliverable: process demonstrated at lab or pilot scale, technical dossier including the economics of the target industrial process, samples.

Control

Production optimisation and control

Your goal: getting the most from an existing production line, continuously.

We equip your installations with AlchemDrive, our embedded artificial intelligence control (edge AI). Where conventional advanced process control (APC) holds a set point around a fixed model, AlchemDrive learns to drive the process from experience: it reads the sensors in real time, decides and acts on the actuators, including in transient phases (start-ups, set-point changes) and when the process drifts.

The intelligence runs as close as possible to the equipment, with no cloud dependency: your process data never leaves your site. AlchemDrive deploys on our own installations and on client units already in service, and can complement an existing control system that remains master. See AlchemDrive in action.

Deliverable: instrumented and controlled installation, measured gains in yield and stability, strengthened operating autonomy.

Production

Industrialisation and production

Your goal: produce, on your site or through our partners.

Because we are industrialists ourselves, we know how to move from the lab to the production unit. With our partner De Dietrich, we design the continuous flow production unit suited to your need, with a view to the ChemPocket modular micro-factories. We handle the technology transfer and start-up support.

Deliverable: process transferred, teams trained, start-up supported.
